My name is Sue and I want to say ‘thank you’ for visiting my website and to warmly invite you to take a look around and explore.
I am an experienced Person-Centred counsellor and a registered, senior accredited member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society). I am qualified to counsel face to face, online and by telephone. My counselling practice is based in a quiet location in the centre of Sherwood in Nottingham, only two minutes walk from a main bus route.
Within my site you will find more about me, my background and my counselling experience. You will also find information about my practice, including important matters like fees and sessions, together with an invite to an initial free counselling session. In addition I will offer some helpful information around ‘what is counselling‘ and links to other websites and professional counselling organisations that may help you to become more informed and assist you in your journey towards counselling.
People come for counselling for many different reasons – some are asking ‘big life’ questions, some have a sense that ‘all is not right’ in their world, others wish to look at key life events, like a significant loss or trauma. Finding the right counsellor for you is important and I hope that by sharing some information about me, both personally and professionally, you will feel able to decide if counselling with me feels right for you.
